Qatar has a small number of dedicated water parks, rather than many competing options. This guide covers the two best documented. We checked each park's own site and Qatar Tourism's coverage in September 2026.
Meryal Waterpark
Located on Qetaifan Island North, an artificial island built for leisure, Meryal is reported as Qatar's newest and largest water park, spread across 6 acres with 53 slides and 69 attractions in total. Its RIG 1938 zone has an oil-rig theme, and its Icon Tower is reported to hold two Guinness World Records for the tallest water park tower and the first to combine 12 slides in one tower. The park is also reported to include food and drink outlets, changing rooms, lockers, and private cabanas.
Desert Falls
Desert Falls sits within the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort and is reported to be Qatar's most comprehensive combined water and adventure park experience. It is part of a resort rather than a standalone day-ticket park, so check the resort's own site for current access and pricing.
