MotoGP Qatar 2026 at Lusail: Schedule, Tickets and Family Rules
The MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar runs 6 to 8 November 2026 at Lusail International Circuit under floodlights. The schedule, the reported QAR 200 three day ticket, children's rules and what is included.

MotoGP is the first big motorsport weekend of the Lusail season, three weeks before Formula 1. Because it falls so soon, many people are still asking basic questions: what day is the race, what does it cost and can children go? This guide uses the circuit's own MotoGP page. The page does not give a publication date, and it does not list gate times or general rules beyond the children's conditions, so check the official channels before you go.
The weekend schedule
| Day | What happens |
|---|---|
| Friday, 6 November | Free practice |
| Saturday, 7 November | Qualifying and the sprint race |
| Sunday, 8 November | The main race day finale |
The race is run at night under lights on the 5.38 km Lusail International Circuit, and the grid has 22 riders. The circuit says the Qatar round has run since 2004.
Tickets
The circuit lists a 3-day Main Grandstand and Lusail Hill ticket at QAR 200 for adults, covering 6 to 8 November. Lusail Hill is an elevated viewing area at Turn 1. Hospitality packages and a LIC Lounge for 7 and 8 November are also offered. Buy only through the official Lusail International Circuit platform.
What is included in the 3-day ticket?
- General admission seating in the Main Grandstand and Lusail Hill.
- Entry to the Fan Zone.
- Access to MotoGP merchandise and other merchandise outlets.
- Free parking and taxi pick-up and drop-off zones.
Family and children's rules
- Children under 12 enter free, but must reserve tickets through the official platform.
- You can bring up to six children per adult with a full price ticket.
- Children in hospitality areas need a full price ticket.
- Children aged 2 and under enter free without a ticket, have no assigned Main Grandstand seat and must be carried by a parent.
Bring ear protection for children, since motorcycle racing is loud, and a jacket for the evening.
Getting there
Free parking is included, and there is a taxi zone. For public transport, the Red Line and the shuttle routes described for the F1 weekend may also apply, but the MotoGP page does not describe transport, so check the Lusail app or the circuit's channels. See our F1 Qatar Grand Prix guide for the transport arrangements reported for the Grand Prix, Lusail for the area and car rental companies in Qatar.
Other things to plan
- The circuit offers accommodation packages through Visit Qatar and travel packages through Qatar Airways. See hotels in Lusail for how to choose where to stay.
- Check entry rules if you are visiting. See visa free entry, visa on arrival and Hayya.
- For other days out see free places to visit in Qatar and kids activities in Qatar.
What we could not verify
- Gate opening times, transport and parking details for MotoGP.
- Whether tickets are still available, and the price of hospitality packages.
- A publication date for the circuit's MotoGP page.
